Our nationwide network are qualified in the field of counselling, critical incident, psychological trauma & personal stress. Our people have a range of professional backgrounds including social work, education, nursing, occupational health and business.

We use therapists from the BACP accredited register and the PSA accredited registers, including the HGI Register of Qualified Therapists as well as other recognised professional counselling registers.

Keith is passionate about creating healthy work places and promoting best practice. Rooted in practice Keith has extensive experience of providing counselling, stress and well being services in the workplace, as a counsellor, trainer, registered expert witness and ex-social worker. Keith has worked within both the public and private sectors.
Before setting up the Red Poppy Company in 2002, he worked for Coventry City Council, providing counselling, training and well being services for the 17,000 employees who worked there. He has also worked for Coventry University, Plymouth University, FirstAssist and PPC.
Keith is active in raising awareness and educating personnel who are responsible for providing healthy workplaces. He and Nicola have conducted and published research in this field. In addition Keith and Nicola have co-authored and published many articles relating to the effectiveness of counselling interventions in the workplace. Keith also lectured in Counselling Studies.
